Flying to Madeira

Many people ask me about the best way to get to Madeira, so I decided to write about it.

First of all, it is worth mentioning that Madeira has a super mild winter, which makes it an excellent destination in the high season, spring and summer, or in the low season, autumn and winter. Even in the fall and winter the Island offers many activities, whether sports, gastronomic, cultural or just contemplative.

In a quick search you can find direct flights from Brazil (I researched from Salvador and SP) for € 985 in the low season. Already in the high season this amount rises to € 1513,00 (I researched July, holiday month for most in Brazil and super high summer in Europe).

As there are always deals from major Brazilian capitals to cities in Europe, it is super interesting to take advantage of these deals and fly to Madeira from one of the destinations here in Europe.

From Lisbon and Porto you will pay around € 70 in low season and € 172 in high season, which is an excellent value to enjoy and get to know this little piece of paradise … for those who like nature, there is no more beautiful place in Portugal, perhaps in Europe.

Coming from London is also a great option. It has many flights, which facilitates the search for best date and time, and the cost is one of the best – about €88 in the off season and €180 in the high.

Well, then we have good options from Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam and Frankfurt …

If you are coming to any destination in Europe, do not hesitate to contact us. We can find an excellent flight to get to know Madeira, considered the best island destination in the world – and no wonder, we are truly the best Island on the planet … just know to understand why.

Note: In 2015 and 2016, Madeira was elected the “Best Insular Destination in the Worl” by the World Travel Awards. In 2013, 2014 and 2016 won “Europe´s Leading Island Destination” award, having competed in this category alongside major tourist destinations such as the Canaries, Balearics, Sardinia, Malta and Cyprus.
